Description The Iowa Department of Human Services (DHS) is issuing this solicitation to encourage qualified mental health service providers in the affected areas to agree to provide services to Iowans who were impacted by the 2008 natural disaster. Eligible service providers shall have an IDPH-issued professional license to provide mental health counseling sessions to affected Iowans who qualify for the program. The purpose of the solicitation is to provide guidance for service providers to submit applications for the provision of mental health counseling sessions as described in this solicitation and the enclosed contract. Applications will be evaluated by DHS based on the criteria provided in the solicitation and contracts will be offered to applicants who qualify and are approved by DHS.
