Description
The Iowa Department of Agriculture through the Division of Soil Conservation and Water Quality (Division) is issuing a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for “Phase IA/Phase I – Archaeological Survey” professional consulting services on fourteen (14) proposed Nutrient Reduction Constructed Wetland projects; to be located in Worth, Bremer, Buchanan, Clay, Pocahontas, Kossuth, Calhoun, Carroll/Greene, Hardin, and Jasper Counties. The submission instructions, project locations and specifics are provided in this document.
Consultants meeting the Statement of Qualifications (instruction attached) and that have included the required supporting documentation for the Phase IA/Phase I – Archaeological Survey design services are invited to submit and RFQ.
RFQs for a total of 14 projects are being solicited at this time that need Phase IA/Phase I reports completed that will meet the requirements of the State Historic Preservation Office of Iowa Ideally, all the field work required for each would be completed before freeze-up with reports to follow up within a reasonable time period afterwards to allow IDALS to begin the construction bidding process in the first quarter of 2024.
The fourteen (14) projects will be grouped that are in close proximity to each other. There will be a maximum total of 6 contracts. The Division may award more than one project group to a single Consultant.
Requests for Quotes (RFQ) will only be evaluated for firms or individuals who meet the Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) to perform the requested archaeological
