Description
Provide Professional Engineering to design an addressable networked fire alarm system for Camp Dodge, Johnston, IA. The design will network existing addressable systems into a graphical front end located in building QHP-1 if possible. This graphical interface will have the ability to display alarms and troubles on building CAD backgrounds and transmit by phone and cellular connection, alarm and monitoring data to a UL approved monitoring company. The system will also integrate to the building automation system for information only. The design will be specific to the buildings included as Exhibit A and A.1 in this bid document and will contemplate including new addressable alarm systems into the buildings on the list that do not have addressable systems. The new system shall meet all requirements of NFPA 72, AHJ and the State Fire Marshal’s office. The successful firm is required to employ a certified fire professional engineer to review the design. The network design shall be coordinated with the IARNG IT department and meet all criteria presented for UFC 4-010-06 Cybersecurity attached Exhibit B. Bids on the Engineering firm’s letterhead will be accepted
