Description
The Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship (Agency) is soliciting proposals for an autoclave to sterilize media, instruments, and supplies for microbiological testing. The autoclave will also be used to sterilize biological waste from testing activities for disposal. The proposal must include costs for delivery, deinstallation, installation, and on-site training. Trade-in and removal of the old autoclave is preferred. The proposal should also include the option to purchase a service agreement after the warranty period ends. The service agreement option should be available to renew annually for up to five additional years post warranty. The service agreement must include four preventive maintenance visits per year and emergency repairs, including, but not limited to, parts, labor, and travel.
