Description

The Glenwood Resource Center is seeking bid for a bathing system with a unique tilting function allowing residents with challenging conditions to recline in a contoured seat and quickly become immersed in warm water using only 24 gallons pre-filled water. Specs are from the EZ Way RR7 Atlantic Bathing System. SPECS MUST MEET OR EXCEED THE FOLLOWING: *Requires island plumbing configuration * Cleanrane air spa system or equivalent with a 12 air jet system and ceramic heating. The air jets must be so configured that they do not allow water to enter the air lines, which can promote bacterial growth. * Thermostatic mixing valve with anti-scald protection that dispenses a rate of fill at 15 gallon per minute or greater. * Built-in disinfection system. * Handheld shower wand that can be used at the same time the tub is filling. * Built-in thermometer to monitor tub fill and wand temperature. * Head pillow attachable with suction cups. * Overall length of the tub shall be no longer than 73 inches (or 88 inches when reclined). * Adjustable legs up to two inches. * Interior seat shall be at least 24 inches wide with a height of 21 inches. * Shall be transfer device compatible with an under tub clearance of 5 inches high and 31 inches wide. * Must have a weight capacity of 450 pounds or greater filled. * Water supply inlet 3/4 inch diameter. * Electrical supply 115v ac; 60hz; 15 amp * Side door shall swing up with a left hand configuration. *Auto-Fill or pre-fill - a time-saving feature that enables the caregiver to fill the tub to a pre-set level (24 gallons). * It shall be acceptable for Agency staff to do the tub installation without compromising the warranty. When submitting bids, please include the bathing system specs you are quoting.
