Description
The Iowa City Area Office of Iowa Vocational Rehabilitation Services is looking to contract for janitorial services at 1700 So. 1st Avenue, Suite 11-A, Eastdale Plaza, Iowa City, Iowa 52240. The successful vendor will clean the office twice per week. Daily tasks include: empty all wastebaskets and dispose in proper receptacle provided by the building; spot clean interior door and partition glass; spot clean entrance door glass; vacuum carpets; vacuum entryway mats; sweep or dust mop hard surface floors; damp mop hard surface floors; clean refrigerator (outside); clean microwave; clean and sanitize drinking fountains; clean all tabletops and chairs; clean counter tops and sinks; maintain janitor's closets in neat and orderly fashion; properly arrange furniture in offices upon completion of work; lights: turn off lights, except designated security lighting; security: secure/lock all doors.
Weekly tasks include: spot dust open area of desks and furniture.
Yearly tasks include: machine scrub hard surface floors; shampoo and extract carpet.
Restroom daily tasks include: empty wastebaskets and replace liners; empty sanitary napkins receptacles; clean and refill all restroom dispensers; clean mirrors and chrome fittings; clean and disinfect sinks, urinals, and toilets; sweep, mop, and disinfect restroom floors.
Restroom monthly tasks: dust or vacuum return air vents and grills.
