Description

State of Iowa Dept of Administrative Services, on behalf of Iowa Public Television is seeking bids for closed captioning services. March 11 3:15PM NOTE: Revised services description and RFB Sec. 1.4 service description. Please note this and use the attached RFB Revised document. These services include, but are not limited to, Live (On-Line)/Real-Time captioning, Post-Production (Off-line) captioning, transcription and Spanish language captioning. The State, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to award the RFB to one Bidder or to multiple Bidders that will be responsible for performance required under the contract. Bidder(s) shall provide all equipment for the services defined in this RFB. Installation of any equipment and/or software for these services shall be the awarded Bidder’s responsibility and expense, as will be the removal of such equipment and/or software upon completion of the contract or cancellation of the contract. The Bidder shall be responsible for all Bidder-owned equipment. The risk of loss and/or damage to Bidder-owned equipment and/or software shall be fully assumed by the Bidder at all times pertinent to the contract. Bidder shall agree that all rights to captions and caption files will be maintained by IPTV for unlimited use on broadcast, online and all other multimedia uses. Please review the attached documents for complete RFB information and expectations as well as directions on how to submit a Bid. NOTE: Any vendor questions and answers are DUE by Close of Business on Mon., March 18, 2019. See page one of the RFB for details on submitting questions. March 26 NOTE: Amendment One containing answers to vendor questions has been attached within this web site.
