Description
The Iowa Department of Agriculture as a part of our public outreach at the Iowa State Fair maintains a booth at the Varied Industries Building. At our booth department employees weigh willing attendees and provide them a print out of their weight for a souvenir. Over the years this has become an annual tradition for many families. Some will come on the first day of the fair and the last day of the fair to compare. Others weigh in at the beginning and end of the day. To continue this tradition at the Iowa Department of Agriculture’s booth, we are looking for a scale that would allow attendees to be weighed and take a souvenir while upgrading the scale to a more current model.
