Description
Iowa Workforce Development is soliciting proposals from qualified Contractors to support a central Iowa job training program.
The Contractor shall submit a proposal developing a long-term sustained program to train unemployed and underemployed central Iowans with skills necessary to advance to higher-paying jobs with full benefits.
The initial term of contract shall be from January 1, 2018, through December 31, 2018. Funding for the initial term is through a State of Iowa General Assembly line-item appropriation of $100,000 in Iowa Acts 2017, Senate File 513.
As a condition of receiving moneys appropriated under this RFP, the Contractor shall testify upon the request of any committee or subcommittee of the State of Iowa General Assembly regarding the expenditure of such moneys.
