Description
Woodward Resource Center (WRC) is requesting bids for Medical Staff Recruitment. WRC reserves the right to award to multiple contractors. All bids must include an hourly rate per position for all identified positions. This opportunity is restricted to ITQ prequalified vendors.
Provide up to fifteen (15) Registered Nurses (RN), up to ten (10) Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), up to (100) Certified Nursing Assistants (C.N.A.) and/or Non-certified Direct Care Professionals, and up to four (4) Respiratory Therapists, for positions within (WRC). The minimum assigned hours per week will be forty (40) hours, within a mutually agreed upon time between Consultant and Agency to have on-call requirements. In addition to providing candidates to fill positions billed directly to Agency for services rendered, the Agency will retain the option of offering candidates a full-time position and paying the Contractor a placement fee.
The successful bidder will be required to provide references and employment history for all prospective RN, LPN, and Respiratory Therapist candidates once contract is active. All prospective candidates will be interviewed and approved by WRC prior to providing services.
(A) RN and LPN positions must have valid and current licensure as either a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), that is in good standing, in the State of Iowa by the Iowa Board of Nursing or licensure as an RN or LPN in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact Administrator’s Agreement of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing, that is in good standing
(B) Respiratory Therapists must have valid and current licensure through the Board of Respiratory Care and Polysomnography
C) RN and LPN positions must have valid and current licensure as either a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), that is in good standing, in the state of Iowa by the Board of Nursing or licensure as an RN or LPN in accordance with the Nursing Licensure Compact Administrators Agreement of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing, that is in good standing.
D) Respiratory Therapists must have valid and current licensure
E) Must have a minimum 60-day assignment at WRC with a minimum of 40 hours per week
F) Must have current BLS/CPR certification
G) Must have current Dependent Adult and Child Abuse training
H) Must be able to clear a background check
I) Must have the ability to work flexible and/or rotating shifts
J) Must be able to walk up and down stairs to code blue sites, to houses or to other worksites
K) Must be able to lift 50 pounds, bend, stoop, and twist frequently when providing nursing care and training
L) Must complete necessary medical documents in a legible format
M) Must be able to access the computer and perform necessary functions related to an individual’s electronic record
N) Agency members (IDT) to achieve interdisciplinary goals set for individuals served
O) Ability to report to the worksite regularly and on time
P) Ability to follow orders and directives
Q) Ability to work with others (build, foster and maintain partnerships at a variety of levels)
R) Ability to meet deadlines
S) Comprehend complex situations and identify essential elements. Plan and carry out complex initiatives
T) Recognize issues from both a systemic and independent approach, and to discern when each is appropriate
U) Gather information from written and oral sources. Communicate orally and in writing effectively. Express information to individuals or groups effectively, considering the audience and the nature of the information
V) Organize and prioritize effectively
