Request for Proposals
Description
The State Library of Iowa is seeking proposals from qualified Respondents to provide library materials for public libraries including books, and audiovisual materials including; DVDs, books on cd, and related value added services that will offer the Library the best overall value and service.
The Respondent shall commit to, but not be limited to, the level of service and discounts offered in its proposal throughout the life of the resulting Contract, regardless of volume of business.
Important considerations are the cost of materials, availability of materials, ordering efficiency, packaging and receiving requirements, delivery requirements, and level of customer service, including handling of returns.
Considerations include quality and ease of use of tools for selection, bibliographic services, acquisitions, and invoicing
It is the State Library of Iowa’s intent to award to one (1) primary Awardee of all library materials.
