Iowa Department of Education is beginning the process of creating a Sole Source contract with Vocational Development Center Inc, dba VODEC for the following services for students that are deaf and or hard of hearing. 1. To provide community support. 2. Develop skills necessary for employment. 3. Provide services that enables them to live more independently. 4. Experienced with communication through American Sign Language. Vendors who believe they would be able to provide the services and meet these requirements should contact the purchasing agent before the expiration of the posting.
