Description
Woodward Resource Center is requesting services for mortality reviews. Contractor must conduct independent physician peer death reviews using the following format including but not limited to: review past medical history, diagnoses, events leading to death, list treatment prior to transfer to emergency room, diagnostic assessments, evaluations, test performed during terminal illness, cause of death, pre-mortem diagnosis consistent with cause of death, was medical treatment appropriate, consistent with current standards, suggestions on how to improve medical services, etc. Peer review must be done by a licensed physician not employed by the Agency (WRC). Reviewer will have available the complete institutional record of individual, report of investigator, physicians review, nursing review, report of mortality, review committee and all other documents available relevant to the individual. Reviewer will report based on evaluation and make recommendations. Report will be submitted within 25 working days of death. Background checks, licensing, and proof of insurance will be required of the awarded contractor.
