Description

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) # 58824027 is to solicit applications to provide consultation with primary care provider (PCP) practices in Iowa to increase PCP’s ability to manage adolescent mental health in the primary care setting through long-term practice changes. As a part of the Title V Child and Adolescent Health Program, this project is not a duplication of the Iowa Pediatric Mental Health Care Access Program/Iowa Pediatric Mental Health Collaborative. Rather, this project will aim to complement and partner with the collaborative to strengthen practice capacity in a comprehensive manner. The Agency is actively working to strengthen our capacity to address health inequities in Iowa. Health equity is defined as supporting opportunities for everyone to live the healthiest life possible through the reduction of barriers in environmental, social, economic and other conditions which impact health.
