Description

The DNR is seeking to purchase a FECON BH74SS Wood Shredder with FGT Rotor attachment for a skid steer or State of Iowa approved equivalent. The FECON BH74SS Wood Shredder with FGT Rotor is intended to illustrate the general characteristics of the Forestry Head Mulcher with Rotary Drum that is needed and not meant to limit competition. Must have a minimum weight of 2,400 lbs., overall length of 74 inches and a cutting width of 61 inches. Machine must be powder coated. All equivalents must provide detailed specifications with their quote. The DNR reserves the right to determine if the deviations are acceptable. Vendors must be authorized to extend manufacturer’s warranties. FOB Destination: Great Lakes Wildlife Unit, 2248 125th St, Spirit Lake, IA 51360 on or before April 22nd, 2022. Quotes are due December 15, 2021 at 12:00 PM CST. Email quotes required. Late quotes are not eligible for consideration. The RFQ document is attached.
