Description

***Contractors must visit the job site in Fort Dodge, Iowa, complete their own measurements, and submit a bid based on their own specifications. There are no existing plans or plan holder lists for this job.*** Equipment, supplies, labor, and removal of all leftover materials and debris must be included. OUTDOORS Remove existing wheelchair ramp and build/install new ADA compliant wheelchair ramp from building to parking spot. All framing, decking, and railings will be treated lumber. Ramp will be handicap accessible and will comply with Americans with Disabilities Act guidelines with a slope of less than one inch of drop per one foot of slope. KITCHEN Remove existing stove/oven and install new ADA compliant stove/oven. Lower existing sink. Remove cabinets from below the sink to provide wheelchair accessibility. STRUCTURAL Install new ADA compliant accessible doors from rear entryway to home and home office space. Doors will be a minimum of 36". FLOORING Remove carpeting from the dining room and bedroom areas and replace with new commercial vinyl or linoleum flooring. Materials used will be lowest cost materials available to meet the needs of the agency in compliance with IAC 79.9 (2). Work will take place at a private residence in Fort Dodge, Iowa. All work will comply with State of Iowa and Webster County residential building codes.
