Description
This project is designed to stabilize and mitigate future erosion along a 1,500’ long shoreline segment using biodegradable erosion control logs and fieldstone riprap. The project is located on the southern shore of Anglers Bay which is located on the northeast side of Big Spirit Lake in Dickinson County, Iowa. Work under this project includes tree & brush removal, earthfill (imported material) to soften vertical slope erosion, installation of 12” Biodegradable COIR Logs, and placement of fieldstone riprap for shoreline armoring.
