Description
The Iowa Department of Agriculture (IDALS) is seeking quotes for “Good to Go! Animal Treatment Information and Records” books. These books are used by IDALS Feed and Fertilizer inspectors as part of an outreach program.
The books are provided to producers to record the treatment of their herds and ensure that they meet the wash out times of the drugs used. The books also serve the function of initiating a conversation about drug treatment and drug residues in treated animals.
Because the books are intended for use in the barns and where herds are fed, it is necessary that they have covers that are resistant to damage from dirt and moisture. The pages for recording information must be clearly printed and have adequate room to make entries. The book is divided into 2 sections: the first for Medical Treatment records and the second for Veterinary Feed Directive records. A tab is needed to allow the user to easily flip to the desired section to record the needed information.
