The Iowa Department of Administrative Services – Central Procurement Bureau, Hoover State Office Building, Level 3, 1305 East Walnut Street, Des Moines, Iowa 50319 will be receiving bids for the removal & replacement of existing Sheeler EPDM membrane roof, brick repairs at roof edge, and addition of overflow drains at Iowa Veterans Home, Marshalltown, Iowa 50158. Bid packages: Bid Package #1 Roof Demolition and Replacement Bid Package #2 Mechanical and Sun Shade Repairs Bid Package #3 Masonry Alternates: Alternate #01Revised Overflow System The Iowa Department of Administrative Services anticipates construction to begin on October 3rd, 2017 and end on December 15th, 2017. An optional Pre-Bid meeting/Site Tour will be held on Tuesday, August 29th, 2017 at 10:00 am at the Sheeler Building on the Iowa Veterans Home at 1301 Summit Street, Marshalltown, Iowa 50158. Refer to site map on 2nd page for meeting location. This meeting is not mandatory but is highly recommended.
